11. United Arab Emirates (United Arab Emirates): India has established an air bubble agreement with the United Arab Emirates (United Arab Emirates). This bubble is valid until 31.10.2020. Indian and United Arab Emirates airlines are now allowed to fly between India and the United Arab Emirates and carry the following categories of persons on these flights: an air bubble between India and Canada will be commissioned on August 15, with domestic flights from both countries intended to bring passenger traffic back to pre-eruption levels. People with valid visas under the “air bubbles” agreement can also travel to the UK, the United States and the United Arab Emirates, said the Director General of India`s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). As the borders of the coronavirus slowly relax, more and more countries are included in the list where Indians can now fly. Previously, it was known that talks with up to 13 nations would begin to resume air traffic by building an air bubble. And confirmation that this was agreed with Canada was provided on the Department of Civil Aviation`s website. This air bubble for India will be the fifth of its kind, as it has similar agreements with the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and France.
And while flights to and from India are limited by the COVID 19 pandemic, the Indian government is best able to manage the Vande Bharat and Air Bubble mission operations. Air bubble chords are temporary and reciprocal. The Ministry of Civil Aviation has added other destinations to the list of countries where Indians can fly. The air bubble agreements with 13 countries have been concluded, said Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, tweeted. Although India has extended its embargo on international flights until 30 September, “air bubbles” or “air bridges” are the only means by which international commercial air traffic has resumed since mid-July. Since then, India`s number of air bubbles has risen to 13, with Japan the last country to be on the list. No, “air bubbles” do not mean the resumption of international passenger flights. These are always return flights in which the nations have decided to bring the flights in and out of the other party under certain conditions.
